NATURAL BREEDING
Natural Breeding requires putting the male and female dogs together and letting them mate based on their own desires. We'll need to complete some preconditions to increase the probablity that a natural breeding will occur and that our dogs are both safe.
Side by Side
Fresh Semen for Artificial Insemination requires collection and introduction of the male dog’s semen into the female dog’s reproductive track (vagina) in real time.
Chilled Semen
Chilled Semen for Artificial Insemination requires collection and cold storage of the male dog’s semen for use within 24-48 hrs. Once the male semen is received, it is inserted into the female dog’s reproductive track (vagina). The objective of chilling semen is to conserve the sperm's energy and hence prolong its longevity and viability.
Frozen semen

Frozen Semen for Transcervical Insemination or Surgical Implantation requires collection and freeze storage of the male dog’s semen for use when prepared.


For Transcervical Insemination (TI), once the male semen is received, it is inserted into the female dog’s cervix using a specialized catheter.


For Surgical Implantation (SI), The female he dog is placed under general anesthesia, a small incision is made in the abdominal wall, the uterine horns are elevated, and the semen is injected into the horns.
